04 / HOW WE MAKE IT HAPPEN

From the first spark.
To the next chapter.

A clear path from idea to launch, with the design, development, and ongoing support described in WEFUN’s process.

Discover the idea

Understand the business, the audience, and the problem to solve.

Design the experience

Turn requirements into clear interfaces and thoughtful interactions.

Build the frontend

Bring the interface and its interactions to life.

Develop the backend

Connect the systems and logic behind the experience.

Launch with purpose

Prepare the completed software for release.

Support what’s next

Keep the technology supported after launch.

THE PROCESS IN DETAIL

Clear steps.
Shared decisions.

Here is how an idea can move toward a working digital experience. The exact activities and deliverables are shaped around your project, with review points along the way.

  1. Discovery & direction

Start with the business problem, the people who will use the experience, and what a useful result looks like. Discuss existing systems, content, constraints, and priorities before deciding what to build.

    Your part
Share your goals, audience, reference examples, and any technical requirements.
    Working toward
A shared brief and a proposed scope, with assumptions and priorities to confirm.
  2. Experience & interface design

Turn the brief into a clear structure and user journey. Explore page layouts, content hierarchy, visual direction, and interactions so the design supports the task as well as the brand.

    Your part
Provide brand materials and content, then review the proposed direction with consolidated feedback.
    Working toward
Reviewed layouts and interface designs to guide development.
  3. Frontend development

Build the screens and interactions people use. Adapt layouts for different screen sizes, connect navigation and forms, and check usability as the experience takes shape.

    Your part
Review the working interface and confirm content, navigation, and key interactions.
    Working toward
A working frontend for review and integration.
  4. Backend & integration

Where the project needs server-side functionality, connect business logic, data, and agreed integrations. A simple presentation website may need less backend work than a custom platform or mobile application.

    Your part
Confirm business rules and arrange access to the services or systems included in the scope.
    Working toward
The agreed system functions and integrations, ready for combined testing.
  5. Testing & launch

Review the complete experience against the agreed requirements. Check key journeys, content, responsive layouts, and relevant integrations, resolve identified issues, and prepare the release.

    Your part
Take part in acceptance review and confirm the content, release priorities, and launch readiness.
    Working toward
A reviewed release, deployment, and a handover appropriate to the project.
  6. Maintenance & next steps

Discuss what the product needs after release, from technical maintenance to future improvements. Define which support activities are included and which additions would need a new scope.

    Your part
Share issues, feedback, and changing business needs so the next priorities are clear.
    Working toward
An agreed support approach and a prioritized view of possible next steps.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A little preparation.
A better starting point.

You do not need every answer yet. Bring what you know, and use these prompts to start a more useful conversation.

Your business goal

What should the website, application, or platform help people do?

Audience & content

Who will use it, which languages matter, and what copy or images are available?

Features & connections

List essential functions and any existing tools the experience needs to work with.

Priorities & constraints

Share your target date, budget range, and the people who will review decisions.

Talk through your project

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before the
first conversation.

Do I need a complete brief to get started?

An initial idea is enough to begin a conversation. Share the problem you want to solve and any examples you find useful. The discovery stage helps clarify the requirements and identify what still needs a decision.

How is the project timeline decided?

Timing depends on scope, design complexity, content readiness, integrations, and review availability. Discuss these during discovery and agree on milestones once the work is sufficiently defined.

What if requirements change?

Bring changes into the conversation as early as possible. Review their effect on priorities, effort, and timing, then agree on any scope adjustment before proceeding with the additional work.

Is every stage the same for every project?

The process is adapted to the project. Frontend and backend work may overlap, an existing product may need integration rather than a new build, and a simple website may not require custom backend development. Deliverables and support are confirmed for the agreed scope.
